A battery that does not charge can be caused by a charger that is not functioning properly. The charger has two lights that show the charge status. 

Orange: Charging needed, battery not full 

Green: The battery is completely full 

No lights when plugged in? Check the power, cables, and plugs to see if all is functioning and well-connected on every point. If so, no light indicates a broken charger.
