What kind of brake system is used?Updated 2 years ago

Veloretti 1-speed and 3-speed City bikes are equipped with standard coaster brakes, also known as back pedal brakes. A front handbrake can be added either while purchasing or later on our Accessories page. 

Veloretti 3-speed-with-handbrakes City bikes are equipped with both a front and rear handbrake, but no coaster brake. 

For extra safety, our Kids Maxi and Junior are automatically fitted with both a coaster brake and a front handbrake.
